Thunder Rods

Drummers, here's a way to get a different sound from your snare. YAMS is now carrying "Thunder Rods" - drumsticks made up of a dozen or so small dowels, all tied together. It's a cool sound - has most of the snap of a regular stick, yet still different.

Woodwind Players: Save your teeth!

OK, this is a new one - a little sheet of plasticy stuff that you put on your woodwind mouthpiece. It keeps teeth marks from getting on your mouthpiece and makes it more comfortable to play (especially if you have sensitive teeth).

They are very inexpensive (especially at YAMS!) - so give them a try!
