Lotsa Stuff happening @ YAMS!

Emmett's Dixieland Band ( The Southern Gentlemen Dixieland Band) with be playing at College Hill (in front of Mercer University)) from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm and again from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm.  This is next Saturday March 16th.  The 10:00 am Saturday morning Bluegrass- Gospel Jam will restart again the following 
Saturday 23rd.

Also keep in mind that this Saturday March 9 the Saturday Morning Jammers will be playing again at the Wesleyan Fresh Air Market as we always do on the 2nd Saturday of each month...weather permitting.  Be sure sure to come and play with us. Starts at 10:00 am.  Bring your own "Parking Lot Pickers" book and your own instrument and music stand.  Wesleyan furnishes the chairs. If you do not have a "Parkingt Lot Pickers Book" you can purchase one at YAMS ($34.99). 

So the Jam this Saturday morning will be at Wesleyan College Fresh Air Market Festival.  Do not come to the store but go directly to Wesleyan if you want to play with us... and I hope that you do.  We have a ball.  It is growing and we are getting more and more jammers to come to the Fresh Air Market performance.

Also keep in mind that the Middle Ga Bluegrass Association meets at the YAMS store on this Sunday March10th 2:00pm - 5:00 pm.  Everyone is invited.  We will have Chili, soft drinks, and finger food for everyone.

Middle Georgia Dulcimer Society at YAMS ( open to everyone..they will give you a dulcimer and teach you to play for free )

YAMS Jazz (Swing) Band "Beginner- Intermediate, level 2-3 music... Free and open to all 2nd - 4th year students of trumpet,trombone, alto and tenor Sax, flute, clarinet, elec. bass, guitar, piano/keyboard, drums/percussion (5 pc set and accessory percussion).  We will play in parking lot at YAMS since it is supposed to be a beautiful day.

SUNDAY March 10

2:00pm - 5:00pm

Middle Georgia Bluegrass Association business meeting and jam,  Soft drinks, chili, and finger food provided.  Come and play bluegrass music with us!

SATURDAY March 16

11:00am -1:30pm & 5:00pm - 7:00pm  

The Southern Gentlemen Dixieland Band plays at College Hill in front of Mercer.
