Roland Demo Day - Saturday June 5th

Roland Demo Day @ Young America Music School:
Coming Saturday June 5th

YAMS will host our first Roland Demo Day on Saturday, June 5th. We'll be featuring performances by Macon's own Matt Moncrief as well as the Mosely Dixon Project (all of whom teach at the store).

After the performances the guys will split out and demonstrate, along with Roland rep Dan Quisenberry, a whole slew of interesting gear from Roland, Boss, and Edirol.

Tom Rule will be talking about keyboards & combo amps & music technology in general,
Mark Williams will demo Roland's electronic drums and the Rock-Band compatible software that's available,
and Bobby Hall & Matt Moncrief will talk guitars and Boss effects pedals.
Dan Quisenberry will float, answering all those questions the other guys can't answer.

We're trying to talk Dan into doing some of the killer demo stuff he does - we hear he's incredible!

We’ll have 2 sessions:
one from 11:00 to Noonish,
and the second from 1 - 2 pm(-ish!).

No registration needed – but please share the word on Facebook, email, or tell a few people. It’s sure to be fun!

(oh, yeah – free hotdogs, too!)

Bodacious music good for tappin' your toes

Even though there isn't much guitar in it, we do carry Seasons, by the band tom&co. It has some great music for Christmas and Easter - hey, it's not too early to think about those Christmas presents!

Swing by the store and check it out - there's a lot of ear candy in this one!

Write it down!

YAMS staff paper - printed on special stock, with staves on both sides so you can write those musical ideas down before you forget them! This paper has a smooth feel - which makes it NICE to write music. Each sheet is three-hole punched for easy storage in a notebook.

Sure, you could just print some staff paper off on your printer - but it's the paper that makes it NICE to write down. This paper also won't let marker bleed through (so you can still use both sides), and it takes pencil quite well.

We have 2 staff sizes in stock, and it is sold by the sheet or by the pack, so it's easy to pick up exactly how much you need. Come by and pick up some staff paper at a special price!
