MiPro MA-705 portable PA system - battery powered!

YAMS has a selection of portable PA systems - some are even battery powered - that sound pretty darn good if the webguy says so himself.. This is one of the bigger units - the MiPro MA-705. As you can see [from the admittedly fuzzy pictures] it is battery powered, yet puts out an amazing 70 watts for over 5 hours of use. It can be table or stand mounted, and can fill a room of up to 500 people.

It has a built-in echo unit for special effects, and a road-ready touch durable housing, and you can plug in an external sound source in addition to the microphone - like a CD player, iPod, whatever!

So come on by Young America Music and take a look at the selection - all of it at the special YAMS "beat the internet guys" pricing.

Roland Demo Day - Saturday June 5th

Roland Demo Day @ Young America Music School:
Coming Saturday June 5th

YAMS will host our first Roland Demo Day on Saturday, June 5th. We'll be featuring performances by Macon's own Matt Moncrief as well as the Mosely Dixon Project (all of whom teach at the store).

After the performances the guys will split out and demonstrate, along with Roland rep Dan Quisenberry, a whole slew of interesting gear from Roland, Boss, and Edirol.

Tom Rule will be talking about keyboards & combo amps & music technology in general,
Mark Williams will demo Roland's electronic drums and the Rock-Band compatible software that's available,
and Bobby Hall & Matt Moncrief will talk guitars and Boss effects pedals.
Dan Quisenberry will float, answering all those questions the other guys can't answer.

We're trying to talk Dan into doing some of the killer demo stuff he does - we hear he's incredible!

We’ll have 2 sessions:
one from 11:00 to Noonish,
and the second from 1 - 2 pm(-ish!).

No registration needed – but please share the word on Facebook, email, or tell a few people. It’s sure to be fun!

(oh, yeah – free hotdogs, too!)

Roland KC60 Combo Amp

Big Sound That’s Easy on Your Wallet

Roland’s KC-Series Keyboard Amplifiers are known for their exceptional sound quality. That’s because they’re built to handle the wide range of sounds created by today’s synthesizers, samplers and electronic musical instruments. The new KC-60 takes these principles and puts them in a more affordable design, powered by a 40-watt amplifier with a 10-inch speaker and separate tweeter. Now anyone can step up to a KC amp. And once you do, you’ll never look back.

Flexible 3-Channel Design with Subwoofer Output

While the KC-60 is built primarily for keyboards, it’s also at home with a microphone and CD player. Specifically, there are three input channels including an XLR Mic input and Auxiliary input—each with its own adjustable volume. And while 40 watts of power sounds good, you can also add an optional subwoofer from any manufacturer via the KC-60’s Subwoofer output—a first of its kind on a keyboard amp!

Come by YAMS and check out the killer YAMS price - yes, we even beat that certain online retailer, and you can walk in and take it home with you!
